Horses and Owners are linked via the Ownership Percentage. The system will use the Ownership date to match against individual charges to determine who are the owners of the horse at the time of the transaction. Stallion by Wilmat will allow Ownership changes at any time.

Ideally, the Ownership total should be 100%. It is recommended that unsold shares be allocated to a stable account. This not only ensures that 100% of all charges are allocated to Owners but also keeps a track of amounts accruing to unsold shares.

Owners can be defined as interested parties to a Horse. As an interested party, an Owner will receive Horse Updates from the system but will not receive an account. This can be useful when a syndicate manager receives the account but the other Owners of the syndicate can be kept informed about the Horse's progress.

Discounts can be given to individual Owners as required.
